AUTOMATIC PALLET CHANGER (APC)

                   APC means Automatic Pallet Changer,nothing but a table gives seat to 4th and 5th axis rotary tables by it axis rotates to work place. APC combines with three hydraulic cylinders one for

table up/down and other both are for rotating the table, ad there another hydraulic locking mechanism which locks the table during job going on. Also there to 4 sensors, two for sensig table up/down and the other two are for sensing table CW/CCW  positions (These are magnetic switches mounted on CW/CCW rotation cylinder)

Working of Automatic Pallet Changer:

                      

                     Under home position state the locking the table will be in down position and the locking mechanism locks the table. When rotating the table (M ode is M60 on MDI mode) the locking mechanism releases the table and UP solenoid activates to up the table once the up position sensor gives the signal to PMC, CW solenoid activates to rotate the table in Clockwise motion (Assume working axis is in CCW position), once table reaches the CW position magnetic switch gives the signal to PMC. PMC activates DOWN solenoid to down the table, now down sensor sends signal to PMC and locking mechanism locks the table at working position.
