The X - axis transmission assembly consists of a ball screw and a servo motor. The Ball Screw is a mechanical linear actuator which transmits rotary motion to linear motion. The X axis bears the total weight of the travelling column, including Y axis linear motion guide assembly and Spindle head stock. A servo motor is directly coupled to the ball screw which controlled by a servo amplifier, by which the movement of the X axis (say horizontal movement of the travelling column) is possible through Spindle motor.The total assembly rests on two guide rails with linear guide roller bearings by which free movement possibles. The travel distance of X -axis is 760 mm and the overall length of the ball screw is 1520 mm
